Give the Gift of Education this Christmas for our kids at the dump!

Greetings Friends!
This year we have over 120 applications from our families at the dump who would desparately like to send their kids to school. This is over 40 kids more than last year but they and we are trusting God to provide for them. We have had almost 100% participation throughout the year and we check report cards and attendance regularly. School is free but the required Uniform, backpack and supplies cost about $75 per student. Please pray about supporting these chldren from pre-k through high school and GED programs. We simply can't meet this need without your prayers and support! Click here to donate! Checks can be sent to Roatan Mission, 1015 Parkway Drive, Lenoir City TN 37771. Roataan Mission is a 501c3 Organization and all donations are tax deductible with receipts provided. www.roatanmission.com

Medical Successes and Needs!

11 year old Mario (from dump ministry) received his second eye surgery on the mainland that saved his sight in his right eye. Please pray for resources for helping him travel to the mainland for follow up care. $200 covers all his transportaion and food needs for this travel. LIxsy, 4 years old, is continuing treatment for Leukemia and is pushing through this hard time. We have received some money to assist with her treatment and are praying for all her needs to be met and for a full recovery.

CHURCH PLANT

Thanks to a generous donation we were able to finish the stairs for the church and they are currently installing windows and lower level support beams at our church plant "Cristo Rey" (Christ the King). More than 40 children and 35 adults are currently attending the church and Pastor Rossel and his wife Cyntia are ministering in the community and local prison. We support them with about $300 per month since he lost his full time job.

How can you help?

We need your prayers, support and teams! Current project needs for prayer, finances and mission teams include a school construction/ painting at the orphanage, house construction for an older gentleman (Mr. Rene) living in the dump, projects at a church/hurricane shelter, sports and tutoring at Orphanage and Miss Deborah's school and construction and medical assistance at the local dump.

TEAMS NEEDED

We love seeing teams come to serve and we know that it always gives a broader understanding and impact on God's kingdom. We need your help to provide these and many more spiritual and physical needs and many more for 2018. We can provide all the fliers, info and resources to organize a group to come down. Gather your family, some friends, a Sunday school or church and be a blessing to others as God changes your heart as well. Always needed donations We are in need of solar lights, clothing, soccer uniforms, cleats and balls, shoes (sizes 6-10), first aid kits, hygiene kits and /or money to purchase these items on the island. R Church Our church in West Bay continues to grow with about 140 attending weekly and we are praying about space for the upcoming high season. Long term we are hoping to find land and build a church that can serve as a base for ministries throughout the week. All of Pastor Travis's sermons since August 2015 are now uploaded on iTunes. Click here to browse the messages Ephesians and Genesis. Travis is traveling to the states to visit our daughter Ella for Thanksgiving as she has started her college career as a Pre-Med major. Tish continues to see counseling clients and is on call for emergencies at Clinica Esperanza, does therapy at Sandy Bay Orphanage and leads the Ladies Bible study. She will be attending the ladies retreat Summer Camp and Missionary Care Available Our apartments at www.seascaperoatan.com are now open to provide respite for family and group mission teams, missionary families working in Honduras. It has been a joy to have several families who work full time in orphanages, schools and pastor training get the opportunity to come rest and enjoy family time. We help them find fun things to do here, fellowship with them and of course give them great coffee! If you would like to donate to sponsor a missionary who is in need of a break and/or counseling, you can do so and add " missionary care" in the note. All donations are tax deductible. Covering cost for a missionary family is only $40 per night.

May God Bless You!
